Global India Foundation was founded in the year 2010 by a team of young social activists, who are joined together to form this organization for the consciousness, empowerment and overall development of the disadvantaged section of the society on the values of peace, justice and equity.
Global India Foundation believes that community participation is the key to success in all developmental initiatives. Hence, it promotes the participatory and partnership modality approach from every stage of Planning to Implementation, Monitoring the Progress and Evaluation of the Programme with critical Analysis towards Reducing Poverty and Achieving Livelihood, Social Justice and Gender Rights, Equitable and Sustainable Development.

Geographical Area of Operation
The Organizational is currently working in three districts i.e. Jajpur, Sundaragarh, Kendrapara, Dhenkanal & Phulbani of Odisha.
The society currently under taken its activities in Kamakshya Nagar & Gondia Blocks of Dhenkanal District
It is currently working in 24 blocks, covering programmes in the thematic area of disability, Inclusive education, Child centered programmes, Women empowerment, livelihood Promotion & NRM for the target group
Focused Group:
The Main Focus group of the Organization are Youth, Children, small & Marginal Farmers, Adolescent & Women and subjugated women, Disabled, and elderly Group.
Sectoral Goals
Livelihood security: Sustainable livelihood security of marginalized through environment friendly farm and non-farm based technology enhancement by ensuring empowerment process of marginalized community
Health: Reduction in mortality and morbidity amongst women and children under 2 years by enhancing the women’s capacity in safe motherhood and child survival issues and improved access and control on health infrastructure and information by women
